How can you make the most out of an online degree?
Pursuing an online doctoral degree (PhD) has been one of the best, and most impacting decisions of my life. To explain, I had a successful career in IT management, but felt the need to pursue higher academic achievement - 20 years after completing my MBA.
In terms of making the most of my degree, concurrent with beginning my doctoral program I also started teaching online, then once my PhD was conferred, I began increasing my online teaching duties, while still employed in industry. Finally, I had the opportunity to teach online full-time and haven’t looked back. It’s been a great career (17+ years), which has also launched a successful dissertation coaching business (see profile). I look forward to seeing where this continues to lead in the future!
